The responsibilities of the Mechanical for the operation and maintenance of the mechanical installations of industries as they are determined by the current legislation are as follows:

• Takes all appropriate measures for the execution of the installation in accordance with the relevant permit issued in each case by the regulations and the data of science and experience.
  
• It puts into operation the mechanical installations of the industry only after observing all the written provisions and foreseen conditions and conditions required on the one hand in order to achieve the best and most economical way of operation of the installation and on the other hand to prevent any danger or annoyance of all employees or workers.
  
• Carries out regular inspections of the installation from the point of view of safety and operation, indicating in writing and responsibly the measures imposed at its discretion for its safe operation to prevent as much as possible any danger or annoyance.
  
• Keeps, updates and seals at regular intervals a book of operation and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical installations of the industry which lists all the maintenance of the mechanical and electrical equipment whether they are done by technical staff of the company or by external workshops and craftsmen as well as any measure or observation of the competent Engineer.
  
• In case the instructions, measures and remarks of the Supervising Engineer are not taken into account by the management of the company, he is not responsible for any accident or damage to the installations, to the employees and to any third party.
